Who do we support?

We support eldest daughters and daughters from immigrant homes regardless of ethnicity. 

Eldest daughters of  they may be;

  • Student/career woman struggling to set financial boundaries as her salary/student finance is split multiple ways.
  • A grandmother who wants to deal with her past trauma.
  • A schoolgirl whose grades are being affected due to responsibilities.
  • A young woman who wants to know how she can balance her personal and family life.
  • A daughter who supports the family and or acts as a carer for a sibling or parent

  • Cultural norms and expectations
  • Child brokering – navigating country, culture, or language for your parents and siblings.
  • Dealing with the immigrant guilt
  • Generational family trauma 
  • Immigrant daughter guilt can result in lost childhoods, anxiety/depression and compulsive caretaking in adulthood
