Eldest Daughter's Day

What is Eldest Daughter’s Day?

It’s like Mother’s Day but for the eldest daughters. We want to create an international day that recognises eldest daughters and how much they do for their families and communities. A day of appreciation dedicated to eldest daughters. Eldest daughter day will prioritise the needs of eldest daughters for one day because, in most families, eldest daughters are expected to prioritise everyone’s needs, even if they aren’t in the position to do so. Eldest daughters should celebrate this day by prioritising themselves, doing what they want guilt-free. They are encouraged to do something they have been meaning to do all year but haven’t had a chance to do so. Those around them should also celebrate them.
